The current request is from 1,000,000 to 1,350,000, or 35%.
Evil said the same thing. But I don't agree with your math. The question after a dilution is how much are your shares worth before and after the new shares.
Let's take a random figure and say the company is worth $4.05 billion -- just using a number that makes it easy to calculate. As we know, there are 1 billion shares out there. At that valuation, each share is worth just over $4. (To be exact, $4.05, but let's use $4.)
Same company, so still worth the same, but now with 1.35 billion shares (the amount after the dilution). How much is each share worth now? Exactly $3 a share.
So the dilution that will be coming is the lessening in value of a $4 share down to $3. It's one quarter of the value, or 25%.
That is the amount of the dilution, 25%.
Your shares will be worth 25% less after the addition of the new shares. That's a lot, but it's not 35%.
And last time it was 20%, not 25%. Just for the record.
So you just got a 10% bonus. Happy now?
