Well you weren’t to being with and if anything this doesn’t change anything in a sense. That’s just my opinion.
We are in talks with with major companies that are willing to fund us for a phase 3. That has been spelled out to us at this point. Does that mean they will announce a partnership next week? I don’t know. Nobody does.
There is no way we will fund our own mTNBC or NASH trial without a partner. That’s very clear by our situation and how most bio stocks fund phase 3s. It’s with a partner. It was also clear by Dr Kelly that we will do a trial with the SOC and or checkpoint inhibitors for cancer. He said that last CC.
It’s nothing for BP to toss us 100 million cash infusion to help fund us our next trial. We aren’t talking about a 30 Billon buyout. It should be hard for us to get a partnership. Im sure we are waiting for a few things to get squared away.
So I’m absolutely certain we are negotiations with BP for multiple partnerships. It’s been clearly illustrated at this point.
I look at these shares as insurance. Worst case this keeps us afloat until the ink drys or we file the BLA and sell the drug a year or so from now. I do not think we will be funding our own cancer trials or NASH trials anytime soon. We will most likely find out who wants to fund us.
Also if a merger is in place that we haven’t heard about this could also be done to help fund the new company. Now I don’t think that’s the case but there is no reason to think this indicate there aren’t talks or ongoing negotiations for a partnership.
