UNVC PPSI (A Subsidiary of Univec)

Univec Corporation

Physician and Pharmaceutical Services Inc.

Univec's Physician and Pharmaceutical Services division ("PPSI" provides pharmaceutical companies and physicians with a safe, easy way to offer free samples.
PPSI's StarterScript, sample voucher system provides flexible solutions for all aspects of the sample program. In lieu of a physical sample, the physician gives a patient a voucher for a designated quantity of medication. The voucher for the patient's trial supply is accompanied by a prescription and can be redeemed at any of the nearly 50,000 retail pharmacies utilizing the PPSI adjudication system.

The pharmacist dispenses the "sample" from inventory and submits a bill for cost of goods plus a dispensing fee electronically--just as he/she would for any other prescription. The sponsor is charges based on the number of vouchers redeemed. StarterScript vouchers have no inherent value, eliminating diversion concerns. The system is a seamless process for the pharmacist with drug review provided for added safety.

PPSI products and services bridge the gap between strategic planning, sample packaging, technology, and promotional activities to make the most effective use of a pharmaceutical company largest market budget item. Our systems also increase compliance directly with the patient.

PPSI provides a total solution for a sampling program needs that may be customized to fit any targeted program or disease state. Our goal is to provide the most flexible solutions to meet a variety of your marketing challenges, including, but not limited to, open territory coverage, patient/consumer education, FDA compliance for marketing and packaging, effective tracking, efficient reporting and increase market share and compliance.

Physician and Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (PPSI) provides a total sampling integrated system that includes all aspects of the sample program. PPSI packages, repacks and specialty packs samples for distribution and provides sample coupons, or printed prescriptions for distribution to physicians by the manufacturer account executives or direct mail to the physician.

PPSI provides telemarketing and direct-to-consumer programs, all fulfillment needs, all technology and administration, and all back-end reporting by sales territory, DEA or UPIN number of physician, pharmacy location and prescription product detail.

PPSI management has over 32 years of experience in all sectors of the pharmaceutical marketplace, including retail, hospital, nursing and assisted living, sales and marketing, managed care, pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, third party administration, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), advertising and technology. We understand the competitive challenges in the marketplace.

The result is less administration, more options, flexibility, increased market share and increased Return On Investment!
