SANTIAGO, Chile, March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Swingplane Ventures, Inc. (OTC-BB: SWVI ) (the "Company" or "Swingplane")  advises that it intends to commence additional metallurgical testing on samples from its Algarobbo Property in Chile this month.

The Company is currently arranging for additional metallurgical testing  to done on a series of samples from our IOCG project in Chile.

Prior testing has determined that the IOCG veins carry between 4% and 46.58% copper. Ore from 9% up can be shipped directly to the government owned ENAMI facility as Direct Shipping Ore. Ore between 1.5% and 10% can be shipped as Cu leachable ore.

HOWEVER, as IOCG vein material, the ore can, and does, carry other metals / minerals of potential value / interest.

For example, analyses to date (from Acme Labs in Copiapo, Chile and high grade copper analyses from Vancouver, Canada) document the following:

- Gold values to 12 g / tone;
- silver values to 115 g/t;
- cobalt > 4,000 ppm (quantitative over-limit analysis pending);
- molybdenum >2,000 ppm;
- iron (predominantly as hematite)to 40%; and
- La and Ce > 2,000 ppm (suggesting potential for at least Light Rare Earth Elements).

Furthermore, testing indicated elevated :
- vanadium 200 to 500 ppm,
- nickel (to 1,000 ppm)
- as well as Al (1 to 5%), however it is unknown if these metals are potentially economic.

The above analyses are using Aqua Regia digestion and may not be definitive (i.e. for Al and REE).

The Company will be  looking for identification of potentially recoverable metals and/or minerals (i.e. REE) from low grade (1 to 5% Cu), medium grade (5 to 15% Cu) and high grade (>15% Cu) ( as arbitrary cut-offs). ENAMI retains the first gram of gold and/or silver, paying the rest.

Therefore, we are wanting to determine:
1) if it is feasible to upgrade the low grade material for a concentrate;
2) if we can process the various ore categories so as to recover concentrates of other metals for subsequent sale as co- and/or by-products; and
3) possible circuits for the recovery of additional metals and/or minerals for subsequent design of a possible plant for this purpose.

The Company's consulting geologist is currently seeking quotes for the metallurgical work proposed and how required  sample weights would be required.  Samples would be dropped off at the Acme facility in Copiapo, Chile for delivery to Vancouver, Canada.

Furthermore, our consulting geologist is recommending that additional material be transported to Vancouver for subsequent delivery to Sepro / Met-Solver for Dense Media Separation testing and Neomet Technologies Inc. in Saint-Laurent Quebec for testing of their technology on our ore (approximately 20 kg).

This additional testing is to be undertaken in addition to a site visit to prepare for an outside evaluation of the Algarobbo to be commenced at the end of March, all which are expected to indicate the design  of a plant for optimum recovery for  all of the minerals from the Algarobbo Property.
