It was a Sunday and everyone just knew trump was going to announce leronlimab but he announced convalescent plasma which we all already knew about, a nothingburger. He did look disheartened announcing it. Something wasn’t right. I remember him looking at his FDA guy ? at the time and saying something about “ the right to try law” that day too. Why did he get into right to try? Leronlimab was being used at this time for compassionate use I believe. Coincidence? Very odd indeed, especially coupled with the disappearance of the Forbes article which said the drug he was going to announce would be leronlimab. Something or someone changed his announcement very suddenly IMO,but since the conference was already hyped and he had to announce something he just went with plasma which, interestingly enough, has been debunked for covid.
