Because this monoclonal antibody is proving unequivocally that it does single-handedly, what others treatments of all kinds fail to do despite their billions in research in myriads of mono & combo trials, both with & without other failed treatments which only result in more failed results not even half as good as what this monoclonal antibody does as a matter of course...
Bingo.
They don't want drugs that cure, they want drugs that treat. Lot more money to be made in treating than there is in curing.
You think all those bigshots running hospitals, big pharma companies, cancer charities, making chemo drugs, etc. are just going to fold up their tents and go look for new jobs? Not a chance.
Chewing leaves from (hypothetically) the olive tree might cure cancer, but we'd never find out about it. Because people can grow their own olive trees.
