No, seriously, where the hell did this come from? Like a 'bolt from the blue' we are plainly visible and well presented. In less than 2 min you understand what RecoveryRx is, how it works, and how you can use it. Done. This is excellent. I am so happy to see this kind of exposure, in the USA !!! Is it safe to say that BIEL has a signed agreement w/ Shephard Group Healthcare Partners?
From the linked page:
Quote:
Here are a few facts to consider when it comes to postoperative pain…
1) Surgical procedures involve severing of nerve tissue, leading to alterations in pain processing1 and induction of central sensitization.
2) Inadequately controlled postoperative pain can lead to chronic pain. The incidence of chronic postoperative pain is 10-30%, depending on the surgery.
3) More than 50% of patients report inadequate postoperative pain relief, with >80% indicating that the pain is moderate to severe.
4) Pharmacotherapy (NSAIDs and Opioids) is effective, but incomplete, and poorly addresses central sensitization.

If we have SGHP on board w/ RecoveryRx in the USA are there others? They have several openings for Clinical Practice Consultant. See the second link above. So, I would guess we don't have an exclusive agreement w/ them. But if we have this business relationship and we are only hearing about this via a poster (a certified D.D.H.E.) then might we have others waiting to be discovered?
The org seems to be young and aggressive in building out their business. On the 'Home' page their motto is "Superior Outcomes Through Superior Science" and the bulleted points are (comments are mine):
** Obtain Better Outcomes (actual pain relief)
** Mitigate Risk (no more legal issues w/ opioids)
** Increase Practice Revenue (patients will prefer & request it)
And that is precisely what RecoveryRx does. Very exciting discovery. Thanks again to Gimmee Greenbacks for sharing.
In the US there are between 40-50 million surgeries annually and about 20-30 million in Europe. Let's say 1% (US mkt.) require one RecoveryRx to mitigate post-operative pain and ASSUME a $10 profit on each item. That translates to $4,000,000; Four Million dollars. That is w/ 1% in the US alone. Not including Canada, Mexico, Spain (!), the rest of Europe, and all of Asia. Also, not including online sales, in-store sales and increased awareness leading to critical mass adoption. Somewhere in this mix must be insurance codes. What else is on the horizon? I wait.
I wonder what the B&Bs will do to mangle and misinterpret this?
