The number was the senior receiving social security around 1982-1983 had 30% more buying power than those are receiving in 2020, 2 years ago. Well forget about now probably that number is close to 40% less now. This is how you rely on government take care of you while they rich their pocket with our $ and have great benefit even in retirement. Very sad.
