SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures ended Thursday at their lowest since at least late May as investors feared little would be accomplished at the European summit underway and a higher dollar kept the metal and other commodities under pressure. Gold for August delivery (CNS:GCQ2) declined $28, or 1.8%, to settle at $1,550.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange
