When Cytodyn claimed that leronlimab crossed the blood brain barrier, Cytodyn checked white blood cells from the CNS fluid for receptor occupancy. Cytodyn did not check for leronlimab traversing by itself.
Jonah Sacha checked CD4+ T-cells in the brain tissue itself for receptor occupancy. Here is a point I made before spending a month looking at BBB molecular crossing size in inflammatory and non-inflammatory states. It doesn't matter much if leronlimab crosses the BBB attached or not. It will reduce the inflammation causing the problem, seal the BBB leakage and reduce the migration of inflammatory chemokines and cells.
