On 10 November 2011, social networking sites Quepasa Corporation and myYearbook.com announced the completion of a merger. The combined companies became MeetMe Inc. (NYSE: MEET). MeetME is a social network platform for meeting new people in the United States through social games and apps. It monetizes these apps through advertising and virtual currency. MEET operates MeetMe.com and has apps that are compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android systems in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
