I still maintain that while those parties may have had some role, CYDY itself also holds some of the blame for under-populated trials, bad design, and not hiring people who knew what they were doing in positions of power and decision making.
Had CYDY known what it was doing and had results that were irrefutable, nothing else could have stopped them in the manner in which they have been almost completely shut down.
