Leach pad tone - black or very dark usually indicates wet pad under current cyanide leach
Milky or chalky white - dried or drying -- my interpretatoin.
Upper pond is the pregnant pond - I won't make any absolute statement but if it's got liquid solution it reflects the sky and will have a blue appeance or white. Appears to me we are seeing only black vinyl liner.
Lower pond is the barren pond after processing has recovered the precious metals from solution. This pond usually has some solution showing. When operating it is pumped back up the pad, cyanide added and the leaching continues . It's a continuous process.
Note the "wishbone" area blasted of lighter quartz vein material in shape of a wishbone below or south of the ops area. Blasting was done in two stages - no changes apparent in the wishbone in months but day to day work can't be noticed.
