02:21 PM EDT, 05/19/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Neptune Wellness Solutions(NEPT) , up 5.23% on last look on Thursday, earlier appointed Phil Sanford to its board of directors.
The health and wellness company said in a statement that Sanford will serve as audit chair.
He currently serves on the advisory board of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital Funds, as well as the boards of Ecentria, CMX and Image Skincare. Sanford formerly served as chairman of the board of Sprout Organics and was a member of the executive team at N3 LLC, a global technology-enabled inside sales organization.
Sanford's addition as audit chair follows the appointment of current board chair Julie Phillips in February.
Neptune said these two seats "further round out and strengthen the Neptune Board's expertise in the next stage of the company's growth."
