And on Tuesday — just a few months since its last big boost — the startup closed a $50 million Series B round.

OMG, $50M. Watch the clueless non-investors flip from their 'concerns', Verb is raising money to, Verb isn't raising enough, fast enough.
In September, the THIRD investment round of 2021, brought in $150 million at a valuation of $1.5B, which was a total of $220 million in 2021.
Now they raised another $50M. For what? Pokémon cards and Funko Pops? Funko Pops, really?
Wonder what the valuation is now? $3B?
GOAT was valued at $3.7B last June when they raised $195M which was a total of $500M.
What the heck are they doing with all this money? Fancy parties?
If Verb wants to raise money in the future to expand Market even more, they should consider spinning it off to unlock value for shareholders. The valuation of Market alone next year could be billions whether Verb's share price reflects it or not. It probably will once people do the math and comps, but it's an option.
Oh and Market sells more than Pokémon and Sneakers.
