"One of the concerns is the handful of folks who are just taking Gromwell because it’s less expensive. Trying to get the word out in general that “the dose makes the poison” as the saying goes. Take what is needed - but not too much. And be aware of what “too much” might be "
Gerald: "I have said that. We spent millions putting Tollovid and Tollovir together, cGMP, clinical trials (observational for Tollovid, RCT for Tollovir) and now people want to take the work we’ve done and bastardize it to save $100. I can’t stop anyone, but it’s not wise"
Now if you think about it, company took Daily off the market as Max was 10 time more potent and want to make sure people have the best chance of success.
How much would the same quantity of 3CL inhibition of ground up gromwell root have? Probably very little or hit/miss. What if it's only the tips have this property where you do the extract from or the heart? Not going to get a lot buy eating the whole thing I would think. Company could come out with that info at some point. Suspect it my vary a lot.
Now of course you could just up your intake of Gromwell root and eat a pound of it a day. Might get pricy at that point. Is that beneficial? Is it harmful at that quantity? What if a pound a day did work but it was killing your kidneys, liver, etc? Many plants contain toxins - mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplants, etc.
Guess you'd have to wait on the twitter researchers to figure it out.
