A peak into the real world of ri bus shelters arti
Post# of 12591
in 2020 and NO mention of streetsmart advertising company with (or had) 10 year contract? No mention of solar bus shelters?? hmmm? lol
I googled a bunch of these shelters in busy intersection areas in a few towns. They look like they're in heavy hit areas of Ukraine. They could be confused for trash cans.

Article quotes:
"Typical RIPTA bus shelter. About as welcoming as a jail cell. PHOTO Will Morgan"
"Awareness of what? Bus shelters in Providence, I discovered when searching for them across the city, are few and far between, and those are distinctly unwelcoming."
"The primary function of most bus shelters seems to provide some advertising space (how much money do these tawdry little billboards bring in?), which can then serve as canvases for graffiti artists."
What a mess! No wonder why that other company Vector Media is now in charge of these shelters and advertising.
imho
