Capstone Companies, Inc. (formerly CHDT Corporation) (CHDO), a leader in the design and manufacture of specialty power failure lighting solutions and innovator of consumer safety and security products for the North American retail markets, announced it has changed its corporate name to Capstone Companies, Inc., and that it expects FINRA’s approval to change its ticker symbol to “CAPC,” effective Friday, July 6, 2012.

The Board of Directors determined that the new name, “Capstone Companies,” more accurately describes its current operating activities and long-term strategic focus, and believes the name reflects the exceptional growth and positive momentum the Company has realized over the last few years.
