I don’t like being critical, but in this case Joe has lost all credibility, respect, and faith. And that apparently was felt by his former BOD members. And that was expressed to me and to others. And none were aware of any investigation. They did say in commonality that they felt he often withheld information, particularly financial, and said communication would be often belligerent rather than professional.
I leaned in on these former BOD members for not taking charge and ending his term once it was overly apparent that acquisitions of worthless or even criminal companies was incompetent. I said the plan should have been executed on advancing Ii-Key and Oral-lyn. Dr. Anderson agreed and noted that advancements for Oral-lyn stopped once Joe took over. Dr. Anderson was completely disappointed with Generex under Joe, which is awful because Dr. Anderson is the one to win Generex a partnership with Eli Lilly under CEO Gluskin. He thought Oral-.lyn was now user friendly and had a faster path to gain approval.
So I see no scenario for a successful future that includes Joe. But I see no BOD to initiate termination with cause. They put their hands up in disgust of direction and communication and resigned. Are they legally culpable in any way? I have no idea. But as one noted they didn’t even have BOD meetings as required, and he couldn’t respond why didn’t you demand one sans Joe to save shareholders?
It’s ironic that Joe would brag that he’s not giving away warrants to companies he actually agreed to do so in financial arrangements. He’d laugh about how he outsmarts them yada yada. I always would silently think that sounds naive. I would just listen, but posted here how silly an agreement was for Generex to promise an uplist for GNBT to Nasdaq by a certain near term date. They’d obviously default. Joe is careless like that, but where’s the attentiveness of the BOD? It was not a “world class leadership team” as we’ve learned. It’s a clown car, though much respect to Dr. Anderson and von Hofe. They were powerless with certain other members appointed by Joe.
So Joe defaulted all of us into a complete loss. There’s no complete vaccine successfully developed Joe. There’s actually no vaccine or anything in biotech developed by Joe. Joe just trademarked a name in complete vaccine. There IS a complete loss. Joe, you should trademark that, although you forever own it “reputation wise”.
Generex hasn’t been a real R and D biotech with a life science immuno company since Anna was CEO. That’s hard to say. Only she had multiple peer reviews and patents we could discuss. Hope to be proven wrong once again. But it would require a new CEO and no involvement from the current.
