I'm with Respert on this one. Great data get moved to the front of the line, stop the (printing) presses, drop everything, alert the media, etc. That's not going to happen if our 'stellar data' are in a poster presentation. Great NASH data, on a poster, at a Liver meeting? Nope. "Late breaking" is indeed a thing at medical meetings.
I'm OK with data release coordinated with peer-reviewed publication. Hope that's the case. Large unhealthy quantities of pie/cake for All.
