It’s safer than alcohol and cigarettes and should be totally legal and available for folks who want to take the edge off and not drink a chardonnay,” Stang added, also discussing his mother’s use of cannabis to obtain relief while undergoing chemotherapy. “When you look at psychedelics, what (they) can do is actually give people the ability to process trauma that is otherwise going to affect their ability to live a beneficial life. … I think there’s just a huge demand for this.”
Stang noted that the company ended 2021 with an $8 million-plus run-rate and expects continued revenue growth through its clinics and research vehicles during the coming months.
