What's really eating the Republicans
In his White House Correspondents' Dinner speech, Biden said the last 6 years were tough. We had a 4 year plague and then a pandemic.
The Select Committee's investigation has uncovered evidence confirming what sane people already knew...the D.C. Repug politicians have nothing but contempt for Trump...from Day 1.
Trump was an embarrassment to the Office, an embarrassment to the Country, did nothing to 'Make America Great Again' (nothing wrong with it to begin with) and quite a bit to undermine and tarnish our stature around the globe.
He insulted our ally country's leaders, screwed up international relations and supported the dictators.
He refused to accept the pandemic until it was 4 months strong and then only reluctantly, continually saying it "will just go away one day." He did not lead the country in any significant manner in dealing with procuring the needed medical supplies and equipment to treat the covid patients, saying it was the state governors' problem. He did set up a task force but then didn't allow them to their job as it needed doing.
And then, after a majority of the country voted him out of office, he refused to accept reality and tried to overturn the 2020 election
Describing his 4 year term as a plague is a reasonably accurate assessment of his stint as president...sadly.
Jan 2021 finally arrived, Joe Biden took the Oath and the Country, the World in fact, breathed a sigh of relief.
And the Republicans can't stand it...
