So what responsibility would you like the FDA to take exactly? And what would it matter if they said "Oh damn, remdesivir doesn't work against covid, but it didn't kill 800,000 either." There is no other approved therapeutic right now, and yes, part of that is because of poorly designed leronlimab trials and whatever other excuses we want to use that 'weren't our fault!"
As for NP "opening doors", none of that led to anything meaningful which to me, is like a fart in the wind. I remember many years ago being at the US Open with my parents, and my dad got misty-eyed and said "I can't believe I made it to the US Open" to which my mom jokingly replied "Um, Joe...you're not playing." Right now, leronlimab isn't playing. Philippines, Mexico, etc., where there was such promise we were told about and then...poof. ZERO
All that matters now is what the current BOD will do to get leronlimab to the masses IF, and again I say IF it can do what we have been told it can. Thus far, we have no 700mg NASH results. Why? We don't know. Someone does, but we don't. We all want to think that things are only positive. I am in that camp too, but silence for 4 months is not usually because the world is about to be saved but people are waiting for the perfect moment to burn shorts. LOL
