In the Beta Version of Market, the revenue for Verb from MarketPlace was 8%-12% of sales depending on volume. Learned today, it can range up to 35%. Not 12%. Company said I could share. You all have read my post before the cut QVC and others take. Much larger than 35%.
Imagine Verb revenue will be up to 35% of sales in some cases. That is an important piece of the projection puzzle. It's 3 times higher than I expected.
Once you start learning which customers signed up for Verb's Market, you can look to see what their other sales channels are if any. In some cases, it will only be Market because they no longer need a website and can do all their ecommerce from Market. Others will have multiple channels.
In either case, figure out what their annual sales is, or could be, and you can start to model what Verb's revenue generation on Market.
So let's say, I'm a...
small company generating $100K a year in sales
medium company generating $1M a year in sales
large company generating $100M a year in sales
super large company generating $1B+
Small company likely has 1 or 2 sales channels. Larger ones more so sales would be split across them.
The amount of revenue that can be generated even at 10% let alone 35% is staggering.
You can do some quick math and say, if Verb gets companies onboard that generate $100M of sales on Market alone, that is an easy $10M-$35M of revenue. Won't happen day one, but we all know some of these big events can not only draw a huge crowd, but even can generate massive revenue in just one event.
Would just take one event, with one star to set this all on fire.
At some point, Market will reach $1B in sales and that would be $100M-$350M in revenue for Verb. Market cap of Verb would be multi-billion at that point. I think it could even reach $1B with only $10M=$35M of sales. There are comps in the market of private companies with even higher valuations and I've posted enough of them for you.
For those that want to do some projections, here's a head start. Wander Beauty and Doll 10 recently PR'd, are multi million dollar companies.
