Here is a wider and most recent view of the Santa
Post# of 2057
There is some new excavation on the Noche Claims south of our claim boundary. Not even drill pads - just looks like some minor dozer work where where disturbed, lighter color land is seen. The "wishbone" is area where quartz vein system has been blasted and most recent rip and load has been on the east leg of the wishbone. Leach pad is milky white at present.
There is an interesting north/south connector road that seems to connect our access road with the Noche access road. It appeared over a two or three day period last fall. Does not look to be heavily used from the width if used at all and I don't know who dozed it or why. The Noche access road changes from light tan to dark tan a couple of times a week as they water it for dust control - my interpretation.
The north/south major road at right is MEX Hiway 2. Heavy truck traffic - nominal two lane but wide shoulders are used frequently to make it de facto three lane with the middle lane as a passing lane. Risky but it works as long as all know the system.
