I feel for you and who knows just how close each of us is from some type of hazard that will change our lives. I don't have up front money it must only be developed from existing stocks. Having no bills is the answer for many of us. We don't have to worry about working until we are around 102 years old but still my wife is cautious, she retired at age 52, I on the other hand like to spend a few dollars here and there but it seems every year I get a bunch of gift cards from friends and family and I seem to always buy something with those card for someone else or re-gift them provided my name isn't on them....I was forced to retire in 2007.
Yes, life can suck and twist in a nanosecond to where suicide is at hand but it can twist back in the next nanosecond and is why each person needs family and friends and yes family can drive you batty at times too.
