Re: Disco Bob #5102
I hear you Disco, there is no doubt about it, BIEL is a volatile stock

The MMs have a pretty wide range that they can move a SP, some would call it manipulation, they call it 'Making a Market', which is their official function, making sure that there is always liquidity in the stocks that they cover.

Like any business MMs are in it to make money. They undoubtedly have their computers programed to trade shares in a profitable manor while 'Making a Market'.

Yesterday, with a 7 Bid / 8 Ask and a 11 mil Ask Size, I entered an order for 100k shares at 8, a stinky little $80 trade. The Ask immediately changed to 9 before my trade got filled and my 100k order to Buy at 8 became the new Bid price. It took an hour for my Bid order to fill.

The MMs are supposed to cover their Market Making shorts in 3 days but in reality they have 10 days before any serious sanctions occur. Friday saw 64.9 million shares FTD.

The shares acquired by convertible lenders are always a possible factor when the SP drops for no apparent reason. IBEX and St John's have not converted any loans in over 2 years. The total convertible share disbursement, per disclosure, for 2021 was under 200 million shares.
It's important to understand that the convertible loans are what have kept BIEL solvent for many years.

The 2021 Net Loss of $289k vs many past years of $2-3 million per year in losses is an important sign for me that BIEL is moving in the right direction.
