Bruner Lumber Company
Preserved underwater for more than a century, Sinker Cypress Logs are prized for their dense heartwood, bright colors and fine grain. This wood is especially desirable for high end decking, flooring, paneling, furniture, molding, table tops and more. Our Sinker Cypress Logs are approximately 28 feet long and were cut around 100 years ago by hand, using an axe. We estimate these logs would make about 2500 to 2800 board feet of lumber each.

Born Again Heartwoods LLC (Junebug, you might want to check this one out)
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Born Again Heartwoods is dedicated to giving life to sinker logs once lost to the untamed bottomland swamps and rivers by early South Carolinians. Sinker logs are known by several names such as deadheads, old growth, and virgin growth. These sinker logs emerge from their dark, muddy tombs with an unmatched strength and beauty lost to timber today due to modern cultivation.
