yes, seems like they want to start with the 300 stores, but at the end of the promo, it seems like they want to ramp up to 1,000/thousands pretty quickly. the stores look small--more like modern pork kiosks? i mean...what do i know about chinese consumer culture, but it looks smart to me. at the very least, looks like they have some smart people working on the branding, etc. this is not some frumpy pig farm business.
the link from last night was broken but i refound it elsewhere. since the chinese is not on the webpage but in a video, it's harder to translate. i have to aim my ipad at the computer with a camera translation app running, and those translations are much quirkier.
