I have always thought our government should be open on good Friday. It used to be.My folks worked for Honeywell in the 60's and they gave anybody who wanted 2 hours off on Good Friday to attend a church service, Others had services on Friday evening. I support Christianity, I just hate to see haters of it get a day off for Christianity.
That said, my complaint is the so called Supreme Court has ruled against Christianity and yet they take Good Friday off? Many government employees hate Christianity and they take Good Friday off. The double standard smells to high heaven and beyond.
Kids can't wear jewelry with a Christion symbol on it, to school, yet Muslims wear all the Muslim uniform stiff and bring their prayer blanket and get 15 minutes off to pray.
