You need to fit the mail piece to a full 2ft/1ft post office tray. Weight/Thickness matters. Paper type. Coating. If you are off by just a tiny bit, like .07/.06, you are screwed because it is already printed and too far through the process to find out it doesn't fit into the tray. Oooooops!!! and weight is off? Post Office rejects the mail. Ooops. And if you hit .7 instead of .07, you're burnt toast.
