Is a scab the CAUSE of someone's injury? Or is it the body's healing mechanism? Is a bad cough the CAUSE of lung cancer?
Are tau and amyloid the CAUSE of Alzheimer's, or are they a symptom, and possibly the body's response to the assault by the actual Alzheimer's-causing source?
Imagine people spending billions of dollars to get rid of a cough, instead of trying to find a cure for lung cancer. Or ripping scabs off to try to heal an injury.
That's what the stupid amyloid-theory researchers are doing.
