Definitely looks like an external audit is warranted. In addition to the shameful fact that a supposed CFO is paid $2000 PER YEAR, (in exchange for which I doubt he spends more than 10 hours a year) is it even POSSIBLE to waste $17 Million on revenues of only $173,000? This smells like fermenting cabbage, TIMES 10.
