Plotinus - and anyone else that discusses CYDY’s short position in the market. I have verified with Fidelity that when someone sells their ‘restricted’ CYDY shares (as most if not all shares that were acquired with warrants via the Paulson raises) were restricted shares. These are considered “short sales” for a brief period of time during which the actual shares held at the transfer agent must be delivered. This period could be a few days, a week, I’m not sure.
So do NOT assume that CYDY short sales are all really people ‘shorting’ CYDY. Some could be from sales of restricted CYDY stock.
And since there is a current raise process going on - according to the 10q - there may be some people selling their restricted shares.
