U.S. stock indexes rise on domestic data
Pending home sales climb to a two-year high in May
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — U.S. stocks rose on Wednesday, extending gains into a second day, after better-than-expected domestic economic data and a respite from headlines from Europe.
“The housing data came in better than expected and we got good news on durable-goods orders, so we’re having a relief rally that the economy is showing signs of relative strength and not weakening as some had feared,” said Matthew Kaufler, portfolio manager at Federated Clover Advisors. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/us-stocks-up...2012-06-27
