Gold, XAU, ABN.V - Technical Analysis and forecast
Upward momentum is building in Gold and XAU with rapidly increasing volume. June gold futures volume hits 1 million contracts while XAU volume soon exceeds 400,000 contracts, possibly with a total of 1.5 million contracts in 2022, exceeding that in 2020.
Very likely in Q2 gold price will break out sharply from the 2021 convergence and make new record high over $2,100 and XAU will take out the 2020 high of 165 and head for historical high of 230, eventually making new record high.
As hot money migrates to junior mining explorers from other non-resource stocks and from senior mining stocks with well developed resources and when exploration in Slocan Graphite project and Red Lake gold project begins ABN.V will break out from the prolonged side way consolidation and surge above 15 cents, the Neckline of the 5-year Head&Shoulder formation, back to the 2018 trading range between 15 cents and 45 cents.
