True, while it's hard to see how the time spent on Twitter drives revenue or sales in the short-term, it does give him knowledge to allow him to make strategic decisions about where the company needs to be in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or even longer down the road. That success will directly impact sales and share price. I don't consider his time on Twitter a waste of time at all, and I find his tweets invaluable to give shareholders further insights into things stated in presentations or in press releases or filings.
I believe shareholders are fortunate to have a CEO who is so transparent and willing to engage directly with shareholders to answer the questions he can answer. That doesn't mean he will answer every question. Shareholders need to learn this and not get upset if he's not addressing every concern at the moment. It's a balancing act of his time between the company, his industry and scientific contacts, and shareholders. And he has a family I'm pretty sure he doesn't get to see nearly as much as he'd like to. All in all, I think he learned from his mistakes at Amarantus and is a better CEO at Todos because of that experience.
I lost a lot of money with Amarantus, but I'm still invested in Todos and like the progress I've seen. I learned from that experience as well and believe I'm making better choices now as an investor. I take responsibility for my AMBS investment decisions and blame no one but myself. I can't say that for some who post on many of the public stock forums. Pretty sad to have that boat anchor of hate and lack of personal accountability around one's neck for the last decade. To be truly happy, we have to learn to accept responsibility for our actions and decisions, forgive ourselves (and others), learn from the experience and move forward in life.
