I truly do not believe that anything said on these message boards creates real, material, lasting upward or downward movement of the SP. Know what does? RESULTS, good or bad, and thus far, despite a shit-ton of anecdotal evidence, management has yet to deliver the goods in the positive sense that makes it irrefutable. Shorts didn't cause that and neither did anyone bashing, annoying as they may be.

These boards are mainly about preaching to the choir and people trying to reassure each other that we didn't get played for suckers for the past several years, to the tune of (tens of) thousands of dollars each. Sure, there's some negativity on the boards, but overall, who cares? Just because you hate the NY Yankees doesn't mean they didn't win more championships than any other franchise in history. Will they win every year? Nope, and sometimes, one must admit defeat part way through a season, but hey, there's always next year, right? Well, CYDY doesn't necessarily have another year, so let's get out there and win now!

Sure, CYDY could be like Mt. Saint Helens, which they KNEW was going to blow (it didn't just "happen" and people were warned to get the hell out of there in plenty of time but some fools lost their lives anyway), or it could be like Al Capone's vault opening on live tv. Remember that? If you don't, let's just say there was no reason to remember it...nothing meaningful happened.
