Not when the PRs were prolific and then all of a sudden nothing ,like this..But my sense is , the lawyers are in charge here. you have a figurehead as the temporary leader right now which is the CFO. Legal issues with the CRO. potentially DOJ issues , continued funding concerns, and perhaps on-going conversations with potential partners/buyers of the company. But I dont believe the silence is NDA driven with partner opportunities. it wouldn't make sense not to release positive, proven results during that time. Which brings me to my conclusion that the 180 degree turn in communication is lawyer driven. Over compensating for perhaps the loose information which used to be provided that stimulated the follow up letter from the FDA. Is the silence necessary ? Not in my opinion but sometimes the pendulum swings too far the other way to compensate for something they felt was done wrong. My guess is the execs do care about communicating with shareholders but lawyers don't care.
