Biden sent Kamala to Poland to clean up this mess and pull the world back from the brink of the unthinkable.
Naturally – since Harris was involved – it turned into an embarrassment.
Vice President Kamala Harris and Polish President Andrzej Duda appeared at a bi-lateral press conference.
This was odd in the first place, as this is the job for the President.
Heads of State do not appear with underlings.
And the Vice President is considered an underling.
But then Harris started speaking.
And it was all downhill from there.
Harris had no idea she was in Poland or the eastern flank of NATO without checking the notes in front her.
The Vice President began her remarks, and then had to briefly pause to check the paper in front of her telling her where she was before she could continue.
