Re: mountaineer #854
shorters bashers repeatedly have pointed out ZN's philanthropic promises re two such entities- such promises are part of fixed costs- that is, raising the price at which ZN's oil or gas turns a profit

before oil rose rapidly recently-as world economy begins recovery from covid the pre-covid demand for oil has returned and then some

for last 5 years oil price ranged from an incredibly stupid negative price to ca 70- until rose recently to 130-w more to come if us and saudi arabia dont increase their oil out put- so far opec has been willing to reap profits from higher prices after oil output under trump made opec increasingly irrelevant

if 30/barrel is break even (both fixed and variable costs) almost anything above that is pure profit-except for infrastructure build out -trucking or pipeline
i dont know what break even oil price is and nobody does at this point-cant know until we found out how much recoverable oil is discovered by ZN

ZN currently has ca 40 million of costs-previous costs for previous wells written off
this is my only experience w oil industry so i havent bothered to determine various scenarios for a readership of a maybe a handful

https://www.chartoasis.com/crude-oil-per-barr...ears-cop2/
successful oil and gas companies on average have a very high profit
up to 60% of an oil discovery is recoverable and up to 80-90% of gas

in past longs have proposed oil discovery of up to billions of barrels

what is israels use rate?

Israel consumes 1.22 gallons of oil per capita every day (based on the 2016 population of 8,108,985 people), or 447 gallons per capita per year (11 barrels). [1 barrel = 42 US Gallons] Oil Production in Israel See also: List of countries by Oil Production Israel produces 5,977.00 barrels per day of oil (as of 2016) ranking 95th in the world.

so produces 2.18 M barrels /yr but consumes 3,610,937,700 gallons/yr or more
divided by 42 gallons/barrel= 85,974,707 barrels consumed/yr

if ZN WANTS TO BE A SIGNIFICANT FACTOR IN Israel oil independence that could be ca 5-10 years worth of oil-everybody can make their own guess of how many years is a significant factor
at 5 years 85,974,707 x 5=429,873,535 barrels at 100/barrel - 30 in costs
= 70/barrel -

at some point at 100 /barrel profits become unthinkable- as Ryans estimates on the basher board indicated years ago- i posted ryans post in highlighted area as my one alloted post to do so as a moderator

israel has all the gas it needs via leviathon and tamar (bible based names)- mediterranean complexes -but needs reliable oil sources- recent events have show usa may not be reliable source at times in the future

How Many Gallons Are in One Barrel of Oil? By Staff Writer Last Updated March 27, 2020 Hybrid Images/Cultura/Getty Images A single barrel of crude oil is equivalent to 42 gallons. On average, refineries can convert a single 42-gallon barrel of oil into either 12 gallons of diesel fuel, 4 gallons of jet fuel or 19 gallons of gasoline.

so Israel uses ca very close to 10 million barrels/yr in "peace time" such as peace exists for any godly person in a world where satan is the god of this world, as the word says and experience proves

the kind of blessing ZN intends to be to Israel I am guessing without any inside knowledge whatsoever but haven read everything they publicly released- is I'm guessing 5-10 years of consumption- in wartime use could rise up to 50% more /day considering israels peculiar circumstances

these are just quick estimates and could be off
