If you build it they will come. You know the movie. And you remember the loooooonnnnngggg line stretching from the ball field zigzagging off into the distance as far as the eye can see. Extend the metaphor. Start w/ only certain people could see the players then one more could and then ... many would come to the field but not sure exactly why. They are looking for something they have lost. Maybe a little peace of mind.
Like maybe a drug free, cost effective, highly efficacious pain relief device w/o any side effects that is portable, discreet and can be worn 24 hrs a day while not having any sensation of wearing anything at all; no heat, no electrodes, no pads to replace, no creams, no tingling, no vibrations, only the feeling of less and less pain the longer you wear it. We are building it; brick by brick, slowly but surely, Biel is laying a broad-based foundation based on fundamentals and relationships. Neither of which is sexy, dynamic or flashy. It's easy to diminutize it, dismiss it as 'the company is doing nothing', blah-blah-blah. It takes a long time, hence the year of 'information drought'. The fact is they had the confidence to hold out. When CEO Kelly said, " ... you want an update, here it is, we're busy! ... ". She wasn't being facetious or sarcastic, quite the opposite. Contract w/ Stada? New business? A Compliance Engineer? Multiple funded research studies? That's crushing it!
On friday evening I read the pre-release. The name Stada jumped off the page. Their name has been tossed around for awhile now. A simple search tells the story - massive distribution company in 120 countries. It seems to be a relatively small contract for Bahrain and Saudi Arabia after 'lengthy negotiations'. Full credit and congratulations to Erin Sanders for a bravo performance, nicely done! The point being is we sat at the adults table and now we have our foot in the door with a major player. STADA would not have given us the time of day had we not proven our worth w/ multiple signed contracts - ie. KT Tape (1), DonJoy (2), and soon SAI with 10 products, and a substantial online presence w/ Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and other Points-of-Sale too numerous to mention, which is the point actually. They did their homework. As mtoronto has said - our products are being sold all over the world.
Viant (Meraqi) & CICD - I like Swordfish's & Chanel5's take on it. CICD for non-domestic production and Viant for the US. I think we are approaching the time when that arrangement will become necessary as per contractual obligations. I'm convinced there is more to this story. Could Viant be funding our research projects? I could easily see them being very interested in future devices and technology both in the co-ownership, branding, and marketing of said devices.
Two other things caught my eye. We already knew about the recently promoted Iqra “Ikki” Anwar-Dean to Director of Operations. And why do you suppose we need one of those? Also, we've now hired Ms. Zoya Atiq as a Medical Device Compliance Engineer, responsible for maintaining the Company’s regulatory/quality compliance with medical device industry standards and regulations. Hmmmm. Industry standards, you say?!?!?! Is that the first cousin to, let's say, Standard of Care? for the Industry of chronic pain relief or wound care, or hundreds of thousands of surgeries annually, maybe?
Sorry 'bout that, jes tinkin out loud. And I do wonder does this have anything to do w/ , oh, I dunno, maybe, TheSerenaGroup? Naaaah! Whaaaaaaat? You did read the post on 'coincidences' didn't you. If that coincidence was, in fact, a random selection process culminating in the exact same number of abstracts, manuscripts and presentations and in the exact same sentence structure and verbiage then I am a 6'9" power forward in the NBA. Think about them adopting RecoveryRx company wide and in all their affiliations.
And no post would be complete w/o mentioning the rash of newly minted bashterds inhabiting our message boards once again trying to save our souls. Bashterds never bash bad stocks. Take it as a positive sign that the scummy bottom feeders have suddenly appeared. Yes, they are smelly and unpleasant but rest assured they are here to steal your shares w/ their pathetic and malicious lies and slander. Give them a wide berth (it's the odor) and know what you own.
