I have not received a PM in a long time from those I think you are referring. Partly because I don't respond to them. Just ignore them.
Sometimes I think they are testing theories on people so they know what to post publicly. They may be trying to see how a known respected poster, such as you, responds to their post. Once they know your response, then they can tailor their posts better so that they have already argued around your points. You are the practice for them. By responding to their PM's, you are helping them fine tune their FUD.
As hard as it is, JUST IGNORE THEM AND THEIR PM's.
