School me a little Bull and Art. So they have cemented the casing which looks like some 4 - 5" casing. Just estimating using whomevers foot is in the picture. Next they will drill using 2-7/8" DP?
The wells I am more familiar with are 15 - 20k' and they using spud and make the curve, then cement the 7-5/8" casing and then proceed to drill with the 4" drill pipe below the mud motor. This casing seems small to get drill pipe through.
To let everyone know what I am talking about. Drill pipe is made up of a box connection, a tool joint, an upset from the tube, the tube, another upset, another tool joint, and a pin connection. The tube is how the pipe is identified. So 3-1/2" Drill pipe means that the Tube is 3-1/2" but the Tool Joints are actually 4-1/8" (I.F.) So that is what you have to worry about getting through the hole. On 4" casing the ID will actually be, depending on the weight per ft., lets say 3-7/8".
I'm just trying to learn something while waiting for good news.
