For me, the biggest bummer are the friends of mine that i recommended the stock to and have lost a lot of money - and some of them don't have a ton of money to lose. Should have just kept my mouth shut - but I thought i was doing a good thing. I would much rather lose my own money than cause someone else to lose money.
Whenever I get frustrated about where we are, it’s for this reason. I have a big position and I know what I own so I’m not *overly* concerned and continue to add. But sometimes you recommend to friends and they don’t take the time to know what they own bc they trust you. My good friend who bought at $5 ain’t too happy. He will be but I get period texts like “Ugh. This thing is in the toilet.” When you try to explain the disconnect between intrinsic value and share price, your words don’t carry much weight because $.44 is a lot lower than $5.
