The larger question is what the net value is of the companies. With all the debts that have been accumulated, the anticipated "leftovers" likely is driving the SP at this point. Otherwise, the shares would be "flying off the store shelves" at this SP, like Cabbage Patch kids before Christmas, 1983, or Beanie Babies between 1993 and 1996.
Today's analogy:
One can have the best Formula 1 car ever built, but if the driver runs it into a brick wall at 160 mph, it will become a worthless heap of broken parts, and will never race again. I think we all know who the driver is in this scenario.
