I was fixing to be raised in the Greater Chicago Area ...
Dad was a Superintendent with a large Construction company...with all the cards and memberships only Republican.
One day 2-3 stories up on scaffolding someone pulled the master key and brought him and the scaffolding down 2-3 stories.
He packed us up over night and left. Moving back to his sleepy hometown on the Mississippi to hide his family. From there he went out for 2-3 years to practice his trade...seen him on the weekends until he found something close. Even in the sleepy hometown there was a silent line of difference that you could cut with a knife. Where he worked you had to have a Super Top Secret Security Clearance
Years would pass. Then in 1978-79 I got a taste of the machine when running for political office. They called the FBI on me. Luckily I was a little bite smarter than they were.
Now years latter thinking back. Considering my bloodlines and connections. I am not so sure Obama would have been a Senator out of the State of Illinois had fate been different.
Before there was a California Machine. There was St Louis, Chicago, Detroit and NY with a few other player cities.
Sterilize a few cities in the US is a quicker resolve than a trucker convoy. All you are going to do with a convoy is take the chance of becoming a political prisoner and disappearing or finding a untimely death.
