Good news will help shorts the most any movement upward will be temporary unless the news is great news we have seen this countless times over past 2 years. When one of the big news examples hit short squeeze and high SP movement that will not lose ground once it climbs. SP can sit where it is for all i care as a paper loss because i’m not selling any till well over double digits. There is no benefit for shorts and flippers when PR’s are seldom, no one is selling, actually it is very negative when 40+ million shares are shorted and interest must be paid on all the shorted shares.
