I do not believe he was fired over a small financing deal.
Nevertheless, it is very strange that they gave our IP as a collateral for this small financing deal. You DO NOT risk your IP for any kind of financing, PERIOD!
Either they were in a very desperate situation and Welch dictated the conditions, or they did need immediately money and they did absolutely not care since there will be a big change near term which changes everything. Or they are just bloody amateurs ... .
I rather believe Nader was fired due to lack of finalizing anything, the HIV BLA disaster and the desperate financial alley he drove us. I also believe the firing of Nader opened a few closed doors and negotiation will start as soon as we have a new CEO (could take another few months). I do not see how we can negotiate anything substantial without a CEO. But how does withholding of NASH 700mg data fit into this picture?
