There are many of us in the absence of “news” that are also turning grim about the mouth but it came to me in a dream last night that the news is already here, it’s just in the print shop. This is really the Tale of Two Breakthroughs, but that is another story. While the details are at the printer, my sense is that the data for leronlimab at the publisher is screaming BTD for NASH and TNBC, even if the FDA has not made it official. People and businesses of interest with a lot of gold Krugerands looking for a home have caught word and shown up at the publisher to get an early look. Like Captain Ahab they are driven by obsession and are known to stop at nothing to own the rights to the latest great work. Many properly belong on the Whaleship Essex, a cast of characters that will stop at nothing in their drive to take down, to control, to dominate, to take out…I’m sure big pharma and hedge funds are somewhere on the bridge and ensuring the harpoon’s are sharp and at the ready; I find it amusing that they don’t realize they’re part of the script! I tried to worm my way into the print shop but it was difficult; I did learn that the Great White Whale’s name is Sidley and that Sidley is hell bent on exacting revenge. When the book comes out meet me in Nantucket and we can go over it like a proper book club. Don’t be surprised if Nader himself shows up, he will be sporting some new tatoo’s including a well embellished “lee ron lee mab”. He might mention that other story also, and wax on about how he relates to Sydney Carton and how he took one for the team: “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.”

Root for the whale and wait for the book to come out to get the details. I’m booking my ticket to Nantucket soon.
